How long do you cook 10 thick filet mignons

I cooked 2 filets at 135 degrees for 45 minutes and they turned out great. I have a large group of 10 that I would like to do the same dish. The filets will be 21/2" thick. How long do you cook with the additional meat?

Time and temperatures won’t change for additional (same) meats. Just be sure not to stack/overlap the meat, as this will affect cook time. If they are 2 1/2" thick, I’d go with ~1.5 hours.

Thank you!

You’re welcome!

I cooked 6 strip steaks for my non believer friends, 130 F for 2 1/2 hrs. Bags had fresh garlic , olive oil and Montreal Chicken Seasoning. Patted dry then seared in a HOT cast iron skillet. Results, knocked it out of the park.

For some reason this reminded me of Gracie Allen’s classic recipe for roast beef…

1 large Roast of beef
1 small Roast of beef

Turn oven on and place both roasts in the oven.

When the small one burns, the big one is done.
