I need to reset my password for connecting to the device, as I've forgotten what it was. But when I ask the app for a password reset link, the website just takes me to a page that says "Your email address has been confirmed" without allowing me to change the password.

which implies it's a problem with how the password reset request is being handled once received.
Hmm, I don't have an answer for this. But, I'd email email@example.com so they can troubleshoot the issue and get you connected.
