800 watt compared to 900 watt. Is it worth the extra $?

Meh.

I’d base my decision on if I want the extra features (_snicker_) of the wi-fi or not. The 900W can heat up a little bit faster and might, on paper anyway, be able to handle a slight increase in vessel capacity, but it’s been repeatedly shown that with insulated cooking vessels and pre-heated water that the end difference between the 800W and the 900W isn’t that big a deal.

Kind of my gut feeling as well. Seems that WiFi has had its glitches as well. I’m too paranoid to cook things while away from the house. Thanks for confirming my hunch…
