# Anova will not connect to wifi

The app cannot accept spaces or special characters on the password. My internet provider assigns my password with special characters ( it cannot be changed). I created a guest account with a password that had only letters and numbers. I also had to turn off wifi auto connect temporarily on phone. It works great now. I hope the helps someone else.

Just goes to show that Anova cannot adapt to their customers needs.  
Time to bit the bullet and say goodbye to Anova forever.

I also created a Guest account with only letters and numbers. I cannot get my device to properly connect after moving. What did you mean by turning off the wifi auto connect? That does not seem to make any difference.

It took me 3 days and customer support to hook up to my WiFii. This was with customer support!

I found this when I was pulling my hair out. I’m trying to get the new oven to connect.
