The bottom of my anova nano touches the pot I want to use, is that okay?

Bus, as long as the water circulates and the surface is between MIN and MAX on your Anova you’ll be fine.

Your question indicates you may want to have a larger, deeper pot or vessel for cooking several items or roasts.
