# Cannot connect my Adroid Bluetooth App

Today we received a Anova device and all works properly except I cannot establish a Bluetooth connection with my Nexus 5 phone. If I follow the directions by plugging the Anova device into the wall and then go to the Android and tell it to connect, I get a message that it cannot find the Anova.
Trying to make the connection the other way around (ask the Nexus 5 to connect), I’m asked for the code i.e. 1234. That does not work.
Our next door neighbor was able to connect instantly with iOS (iPhone 6). What am I missing?

Did you get a solution to your problem? having the issue with a Moto X pure running android 6.0
