Is the Anova suppose to shut down when the clock reaches 0 and beeps? Or is it just to let you know that you have reached the time that you entered. I guess I am having a problem getting my arms around the fact that it will not overcook if your time is reached.

I think it’d be a safety issue if it were to just shut off. Imagine leaving some food in a warm water bath for a couple of hours as it cools down through the “danger zone”
