# Countdown feature

Hi,

Does the sous vide has countdown timer? I think it would be helpful if the sous vide have that feature for those that want to start cooking their meal overnight (e.g. start cooking the food 2 hours before waking up)

That would be the icebath feature, which was removed due to technical difficulties and planned to return a few months ago but still hasn’t made an appearance.

The cooker has a timer, but you’re unable to start it at a future time. We’re actually working on the ice bath feature right now and we’re testing it before release. Should have it out next week or so.
