# How long does it typically take to replace a broken unit?

I know the folks at Anova are still alive- [good article on the verge](http://www.theverge.com/2015/1/6/7506171/anova-precision-cooker-bluetooth-sous-vide-ces-2015). I was wondering if anyone knows how long it typically takes to A. Get the instructions to return a broken unit and B. Get the replacement. I only ask because, at this point, it might be more advantageous to buy something at the mall; I have vacuumed pack meat either heading for the trash can or freezer.

How do I get a unit repaired? Mine broke and was only used three times. Boo!
