# Impeller hitting cap

Every once in a while when I turn on the Anova, the impeller starts hitting the plastic cap on the end of the unit and begins making a loud rattling noise. I take it off and try bending it a bit this way and that and after a while it gets aligned correctly and stops making a noise but I wonder if anyone has come up with a more or less permanent fix.

You’d do well to contact Anova Support and let them lead you through any adjustments that may be required.
