# It is not heating?

I ordered a sous vide and I used it once or twice to cook chicken but now it’s not heating properly. What should I look into?

Define “not heating properly” 🙂 &nbsp;What’s the starting temperature of the water, size of the water bath you’re using, target temperature, etc.

  

If it’s the same container that you’ve used for the water bath each time and the PC’s performance is considerably different than the first two times, then there’s likely an issue with the unit and you should be using the support contacts (see **Support** menu at the top of the screen) to inquire about a replacement.
