I have just ordered my Anova Precision Cooker and was wondering if any one has ever used a ice cooler or ice chest as their cooking vessel to hold the water? I would think that it would reduce the power usage as it would help insulate the water and keep it at temp. Thanks for any info.

Isn’t it awesome when you can answer your own question… ran across this video when I was researching my question. Great container hack for your long soaks… [Anova Precision Cooker Review and Tips - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOOs6c8wchM.&nbsp);
