# Light preference

In the App there is a preference setting for the light. OFF or ON. I have it set to OFF and yet I don’t see any change. The light still automatically comes on when you open the door and/or when you start a cook. It stays on unless you manually turn it off from the App. At the very least there should be a timeout to automatically turn off the light. I don’t need to watch it through the whole cook.

Is the App preference broken??

Hi. I put it on Off, and it turns off after a little while. It works.
