# Nano annoying vibration and sound

My nano has started making a really loud vibration noise. What can I do to make it stop? There seems to be some friction where the shaft goes through the seal into the top part where the motor is.

Sounds like a retaining clip within the moulding has gone (kitchen cupboard spill onto the floor that nobody informed you happened? or sheer bad luck…
but sounds like resonance from a displaced, out of kilter impeller that is magnifying the sound the more it travels.up the shaft to the head of the unit (acting like a speaker cabinet) OR travelling down and through the water vessel.
sounds like you haven’t much to lose by cracking her open and having a nose around, may be a simple reseating, …hard call.

If I put a bit of water on the shaft near the seal it stops it for a small period of time. Is there anyway to lubricate that area?
