# Red Light - New Anova Precision Cooker

I have a brand new precision cooker - I have followed instructions but am trying to set the temperature manually. I can pick the temperature but there is a red light showing on the LED and I’m not able to start it. I’ve tried to unplug and let set and try it again but the same thing happens. What have I done that i can undo?

Make sure it is immersed in water above the low water mark.

Same issue. Working fine then next time went to use suddenly had a red light and four dashes. Contacted customer support but no suggestions on how to fix, just advised to buy a new one (it does not have a warranty).
