# Sorry, its another whine

Have just bought the pro for use in a cafe, I also have a whine from it which is pretty annoying when I will be no more than 1.5 meters away from it 8 hours a day, i did try to post video of sound but seems I can’t,
So
A: to clarify, is this actually a design compromise? Or just a common fault
B: can the whine be dampened by a specific cover (have already checked in a water bath, so assume sound is coming from further up the neck.

That’s totally unacceptable.
It’s not an uncommon occurrence, but it’s hardly “Professional”.
I’d contact SUPPORT.

I am already talking to them, I also ordered an inkbird version as an Xmas present which I got out to check, it makes a noise but not close to the whine on mine.
I must say though the build quality of the anova looks to be better but at double the price you should expect it to, just hope it’s fixable
