# Wifi Connects for first cook, but did not remember connection

I added my wifi Anova to my network, but when I tried the second time it did not remember.&nbsp; Do you have you reconnect each time you plug in the device to use?

No, the PC should remember your network - you don’t have to go through the initial setup every time - it should auto-connect the second time you go to use it.

  

It establishes a connection to your wifi, then out to Anova’s cloud over the internet. &nbsp;The app on your device uses any data path (either cellular or wifi) to connect back to your PC via the Anova cloud from anywhere.
