I cook mostly with my Anova sous vide, but I keep eyeing a smart air fryer for quick weeknight sides and reheating things without firing up the oven. Specifically, I’ve been looking at the Cosori Iconic stainless smart air fryer, the 6.5 qt model. What draws me in is the app control and the stainless finish, since it would sit out on my counter next to the Anova and I want it to look intentional rather than like another gadget.
My uncertainty is whether the app actually adds anything for daily cooking, or if it’s one of those features people use for a week and then just press the buttons on the unit. I also wonder how a 6.5 qt basket fits a two-person household without taking up too much space. I have no hands-on time with this one, just what I’ve read online, so I’d rather hear from people who actually live with a smart air fryer.
