I found a 1974 academic paper reporting concerns with Cronobacter bacillus at Abbott Labs’ Sturgis, MN infant formula factory. It had common sensical home food safety recommendations; do not use/re-use excess previously reconstituted formula, minimize time in food safety danger zone, do not boil reconstituted formula for supplemented vitamins damage. Practice good home sanitation.
Almost fifty years later and still not cured.
