PrepD Cheat Sheets work in Anova Oven

Sharing that I was surprised to find that my PrepD Cheat Sheets fit nicely in the APO without using a wire rack.

I love the PrepD Cheat Sheet tray with the silicon inserts which help when doing multiple items in the oven. The silicon inserts allow an anti-stick setup that is works well with the precise temp control of the APO. The silicon inserts do warp in high temp but are still useful.

Hi Ki, what’s the rated maximum temperature on your trays?

The FAQ for the Cheat Sheets says Cheat Sheets can be used in ovens up to 450°F or 232°C

I have only used them between 325°F-425°F in my regular oven.

Most over use silicon products tend to have a 430°F max temp.

Keep in mind the tray part is just a regular tray. The silicon molds sit in the tray and you can use the tray without the molds.

Hi ki, I am a novice and would like to know how you determine how you cook different foods at the same time.

Nothing too sophisticated here.

Find the cook time for each of your separate items for a fixed oven temp and reverse plan when you add each tray.

Here is the cooking time card the Cheat sheets come with for a 425°F / 220°C oven temp. In the case of the APO I am a assuming a 0% humidity setting.

You can make adjustments from here for desired doneness and texture.
