Hello everyone.
Does anyone know if the bag touching the probe is an issue? It isn’t block the opening for the pump flow, but wasn’t sure if it touches the probe at some point if that is an issue.
Thanks
Rick

Not sure how the bag could touch the probe. Isn’t the probe inside the housing?

I think he just means the steel skirt. I’ve had a few bags bumping up against it over a 36 hour 69C cook and they didn’t burst. They’re just ziploks too, not vacuum bags.
@RickMed The bag should not come in contact with any of the internal parts which is why the unit should be used with the skirt. Thanks!
