Best Vacuum Sealer Bags for Home and Kitchen Use | Expert Choise

I researched the best vacuum sealer bags lately because I want to keep my food fresh longer and cut down on waste. I checked reviews from The New York Times, Consumer Reports, and Popular Mechanics, and these two options are often listed as the top choices:

FoodSaver Custom Length Vacuum Sealer Bags

Bonsenkitchen Vacuum Sealer Bags

I am still unsure which one would be the better fit for my needs, so I’d really appreciate some advice. I usually store things like meat, veggies, cheese, and leftovers, so I’m looking for bags that are thick, leak-proof, and work well with most vacuum sealers.Which of these do you think is the best choice any feedback or personal experience would be a huge help.thanks in advance

Only because they are commonly available do I use FoodSaver brand bag 6” and 11” rolls, cut to my various desired lengths. I learned the hard was not to be stingy with bag length, cutting them long enough to cuff twice to prevent contaminating the heat seal, AND to allow reopening a bag to amend the seasoning, OR to allow inclusion of a weight. Leak proof is a function of a proper heat seal, and I frequently cycle the heat tape in the same place twice.

I am quite pleased with my ANOVA products, my PC Pro and my Vacuum Sealer Pro, maybe now heading into their fourth year of frequent use.
