Anything that says it is good for the freezer usually is higher quality, also I trust the double-zip bags more than the slide-lock bags or the single-zip bags.

I have the same question but for New Zealand. I’m mostly using Glad, and they are OK (usually using lower temps). I tried some Select ones that looked OK, but they broke open during a cook. 
I might have to resort to importing something from Amazon.
If you can’t find any good ones, it might be best to invest in a vacuum sealer.
That’s what I ended up doing!
