Can I use cling film instead of a plastic bag to cook food ?
Depends on the cling film.
Can you elaborate further?
Perhaps I should’ve said depends on item and cling film.
I would suggest look at professional catering cling film. It is thicker and actually formulated to be used in such a manner (up to and including boiling point).
The item would meed to be something that you can guarantee exclusion of air. So, meatloaf or sausage, galantine etc.
Hi; I am new at this type of cooking? I had issues with my bags leaking from time to time. I started using my vacuum sealer tp make my cooking bags. I have a good selection of different size bags.
