Coffee eggs from 1769?

You’ll have to watch the video to see the full recipe, but in a nutshell, you mix four cups of strong, sweetened black coffee and 6 egg yolks, pour it into forms and bake it. It looks like something that would do well in an immersion bath. Any suggestions on times and temps?

eggs and coffee recipe from 1769

I’d try 176°F - 180°F

Thanks.

i’d really like to try this recipe, has anyone tried it already?

I’ve been using it for many years already, worth trying

To tell you the truth, I’m really innovative and motivated when it comes to different recipes. It seems to be really interesting to mix ingredients in order to receive some new results and tastes. I’ve even bought a special nespresso coffee machine because I’ve become fond of coffee recently and thanks to Nespresso vs Keurig review which helped me in my hobby and I managed to choose the best solution for me. Now I can make experiments with coffee types and coffee beans with help of professional coffee machine.
