I just did my first meal with my Anova. I did a 2" thick prime rib steak. I set it for 140 degrees to get a medium steak and set it for 4 hours. I checked the temperature periodically and it was spot on. The steak was as tender as could be and could be cut with the side of my fork. It is unsettling eating a bright pink steak at first, but it was delicious. I am looking forward to doing some chicken breasts and short ribs.
So far my only issue with the Anova is my inability to get my iPhone 6+ to discover the Anova, but I am going i assume that it is because there is no app ready yet.
