Does anybody have any experience with, or thoughts on, powering the precision cooker with a generator? I’m thinking it would be cool to use when tailgating, or camping.
haven’t done it, but as long as your generator has the wattage output and a tank for sufficient runtime at that load, i dont see why not.
Power from a generator is all over the map in terms of consistency. So you’re not shortening the life of your Anova PC, I’d make sure you grab a UPS to even out the power distribution and minimize the effect of power surges on your PC.

Inverter type generator is what you want to use. Clean power that will not harm your unit.
