I am new to the Anova community and just starting to explore sous vide cooking. I have been reading a lot about how vacuum sealing can really improve the cooking process, but I am a bit lost on where to start. Do beginners really need a high-end vacuum sealer, or can a basic, budget-friendly one do the job just as well? I’d also love to know if there are any common beginner mistakes when using a vacuum sealer that I should watch out for. If you have any favorite brands or models that pair well with Anova cookers, I would really appreciate your recommendations.
