It’s been awhile since I’ve had chicken legs - but here we are. Cooked at 160F for two hours. Seasoned with nothing until it was time to sear. Salt did the job. Nothing fancy. Also had a side of pearl barley that was fully cooked prior to tossing it around in a pan with garlic, chili powder, and the leftover oil/chicken grease.
The simple things in life are often the best. And I love barley.
It was actually my first time trying out barley. Wanted to try out something different from my grocery store. It’s not bad, I think I should experiment with different flavors and ways of cooking it.
