Sick of nasty kitchen smells

I know it’s not just me making a general mess of the kitchen when I cook. But I can clean up like a pro in 20 mins top, everything back where it belongs and the surfaces spotless. The same cannot be said about the smells, however, they sometimes linger for a whole day. Even had an incident where I forgot the food on the stovetop until everything was burnt to shreds, took almost a week for the smell to clear out. Been looking for a purifier for the kitchen, found some here https://www.optimainstitute.com/purifiers/odor-removal.html and I like a GermGuardian, but I’m not settled on something specific yet. Any of you guys have suggestions, other recommendations?
