I’ve been looking into different accessories lately, but it’s honestly hard to tell what’s actually useful and what’s just extra clutter.vSome people say a few small add-ons can really improve comfort, convenience, or durability depending on what you’re using, while others think most accessories end up being unnecessary purchases.vFor those who regularly buy accessories (for gadgets, kitchen items, fitness gear, etc.), what’s something you bought that you actually ended up using a lot? And what felt like a waste in the end? Trying to understand what’s really worth it before buying more things I might not need.

For sous vide specifically, the accessories that actually earn their place are a good container with a lid and a rack to keep bags separated so water circulates properly. Those two genuinely improve website and convenience. Weighted clips or magnets help too. What I found pointless were fancy branded bags when regular ziplocs and the water displacement method work fine. Buy for circulation and sealing, skip the rest.
