Anova precision handheld Vacuum: Has anyone replaced the battery?

I have had this little sucker for some time, and the battery appears to have gone south. I’d just buy another one, but they are “sold out,” so a repair seems like the best approach.

I know I can access the gubbins from the top of the device, but I am curious if anyone has removed enough of the parts to reach the battery. Looking for disassembly advice here.

Thanks!

Joe

Not mentioned here that I recall.

I didn’t think so, but I had hope. There are a lot of reports on Amazon about these failing to retain a charge after a relatively short lifespan. I’d love to order a new one, but they sat “Sold Out,” so I suspect we won’t see them again.

I think I will probably brave the attempt, since it’s becoming a paperweight. I was just hoping someone else neat me to it and had tips and tricks. I’m also hoping it IS the battery, and not the circuitry.

Thanks for the response!
