Anova Pro DOA?

Merry Christmas =)
I was going to use my brand new Anova Pro today, but it did not work for me.
When starting it up I could not change any settings on the display.
when e.g. pressing temperature or time and + or – it did only beep, but it did not change any settings.

I tried to connect it to the new app, it asked to update the firmware and I did.
After the update (were the numbers in the display went up), it said I had to press temperature for 5 seconds to reveal a 5 digit code, that I should enter in the app.
Pressing the display for 5 seconds and nothing happens, actually, all touch to the display does not seem to work, not even a beep anymore.
Luckily, I had a spare older generation in my possession, saving my Christmas roast for today.
Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Please contact support as soon as you can. If they do not have a immediate solution I am sure a new one will be coming your way.

I have written them lets see what happens, was hoping someone had a fast solution =)

I have not heard of any magic for this issue, sorry.
