I’ve been looking into getting a good ice maker for home use and have been researching for the past few days. I went through reviews on sites like The New York Times, Consumer Reports, and other sources, and after comparing a few options these two kept coming up quite often:

However, I’m having trouble deciding which one would be better for my needs and thought I’d ask here for some advice.
I’m mainly looking for something reliable for daily home use, fairly quick at making ice, and not too noisy. Countertop size would be ideal since I don’t have a lot of space. Also something easy to clean and maintain would be a big plus.
Has anyone here used a home ice maker? Which one would you recommend, or is there a better option I should consider?
