Egg bites

The jars works so nicely, I don’t know why anybody would need to invest in anything else. I make them six or eight at a time, and put them in the fridge. I simply use a little butter or bacon fat to grease the jars, blend the eggs and cottage cheese & a little salt, sous vide them @ 172* for 1 hour, and put them in the fridge. When we’re ready to eat them, I pop one or two out of their little jars, put them on a greased toaster oven baking sheet, put a slice of cheese on top, and put them in the toaster oven until they are warm through and the cheese is melted. By making them in the jars, they can stay in the fridge for several days until we use them up.
