Using Foodsaver or similar bags or rolls, I always double seal. But I’ve started to wonder about the factory seals on those and Ziploc-type bags. How often do they fail?
Would it make any sense to use an outer reusable bag, perhaps silicone, sealed by water displacement, as routine insurance?
