Impressive thermal stability!

Dear all,

today, I finally managed to pierce the hole into the cover of my little plastic basin.
I thought it would be a good idea to check how stable the Anova keeps the Temperature. I used my WLANThermo and logged the temperature from 10:30am to around 5:30pm. I expected a bit of ripple but the measurements I took definitely surpassed my expectations!

My sensor is pretty well calibrated. The first two hours, system was in a kind of selffindingphase  . This obviously led to some minor ripples of .05°. The last few hours temperature was nailed to 56.25°C (being set at 56.3°C). Then I added a cup of cold water to see the system’s step response to a disturbance. Temperature dropped to 55.0°C and immediately was rising again.A slight overshoot occurred and the ripples appeared again.

But all this is visible only at the very small scale I have chosen for the graph (everything within two degrees).

All in all, I am very happy with this performance!

Happy new year to everybody!

Cheers
