@JD4JC that is genius! I guess you could then place the whole thing into the freezer to solidify the wet ingredients before vacuum sealing?
I am going to get a funnel like that. Not just for sous vide but for other things I vacuum seal and freeze as well. I like the Lipavi racks as well.

Thanks @Knut - they certainly look like they have the form and function to work well in use and for storage. I read the review posted on amazon and once I decide on which size will work best for me - will be purchasing!
Wife got me one for Christmas and it is fantastic. Never had a pouch float to the surface with it. If you move the divider so it touches the pouch you have adequate space between pouches and keeps them put where you left them. Best divider there is. It also can be used as a rib rack. Now that’s a multi-tasker.
