I have only had my device for a couple weeks, but I’ve already been having some issues. The rotary “fan” portion of the device will sometimes scrape up against the metal plate that it protrudes through, resulting in a very loud grinding noise. The only way I have been able to fix this is to very carefully push and bend the pole that holds the fan until it’s centered enough not to hit the other piece. I’ve had to do this the last four times I’ve used it, and I’ve had it less than a month. Has anyone come across this issue? Is there a recommended way to fix it?
I’ve had the same issue. On closer inspection I found one of the blades on the calculator fan was bent up and hitting the base of the outer sleeve. Bent it back down and all was well again. Easy fix!
