New/Old Precision Cooker - Buttons vs Wheel

I have the older Precision Cooker whereby you set the temperature with the thumbwheel. This allows for very fast setting of temperature. The buttons on my existing device are not the fastest to respond (they require hard pressing at times). I’m looking at getting a 2nd Anova and there are still older models available. Can anyone with experience with both units comment on how quickly you can scroll/set a temperture on the newer button-driven models? I don’t want to press “up” 30 times to get to a temp in 0.5 degree increments. Thanks.

try long press and it increments faster
I also clean thoroughly the touch screen to avoid malfunction, and low responsivness
