Significant amount of steam from the lower right corner using the Oven

Hello everyone,

I’ve noticed that the Anova Oven emits a significant amount of steam from the lower right corner when it’s in sous vide mode with 100% steam. Is this expected behavior? I initially assumed there would be ventilation at the top of the oven. Please refer to the attached image.

Thank you,

That seems to be how they work. There’s a tray below the door across the front that’s supposed to catch the drips. Doesn’t always work that well.

They are all this way. The only vent is on the front right so it can maintain the amount of steam/humidity you set. I was surprised to see this too and I have my oven on a wood surface, so I had to put a piece of plastic under that corner so it didn’t destroy the wood.
