Is there any reason to store the Vacuum Sealer Pro with the lid latched down, or should it be stored unlatched as it was when it was shipped to me? I realize it will be briefly latched and unlatched many times in use, but might it deform a gasket or shorten its service life if it is continually stored that way? I may be overthinking it, but it was boxed and shipped unlatched from Anova so I wonder if that suggests anything.
