Add Venting Feature (and other requests)

If you cook with steam, you’ll need to clean and dry the entire cavity. If someone doesn’t know to do that and no one uses the oven for a day (or longer), you’re going to end up with water puddles all over the cavity (even at the top of the oven cavity AND ON VERTICAL WALLS somehow) and the cavity is going to smell.
If you want to leave the door ajar, the default snap position is pretty far out and the screen remains on while the door is open.

Can you:

  1. Add some kind of a venting feature that doesn’t require the door to be open;
  2. Add an evaporation period to evaporate excess water remaining inside the oven (can you detect if there’s still condensation in the cavity); and
  3. use a non-stick coating that doesn’t allow water to form without dripping down;
  4. design the cavity so that all condensation flows into a drain from top to bottom, and from all sides, of the cavity.

Additional requests:

  1. design perforated pans so that you don’t need to use a rack under them (Why do I need to clean the rack under the perforated pan!!!) just make the pan a couple inches longer to fit in the same slots used for racks.
  2. Is there a Developer API for the oven? I’d like to just send a JSON object to an endpoint with each stage, and to then start/continue/stop or go to a specific stage from API routes. I’d (think I) could also control when pictures are taken by adding to a Stage in the JSON list (so I have a record of failed recipes). If I buy wireless thermometers, I could use multiple probes at the same time and integrate that control by periodically querying the temperature and sending it to the oven instead of using the wired probe.
