ANOVA displays "f" then "c"

I attempted a 24 hour recipe with short ribs. After 18 hours the precision cooker started beeping, then stopped connecting. It then only showed the letter “F”, then “C”. I turned it on and off again and it still wouldn’t come on. I then left it for half an hour and it started working again, but the desired temperature kept increasing on its own without me activating it. It still won’t connect. After closer inspection the display temperature had some moisture in it, not on the surface but under the glass. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yep.

You might be experiencing evidence of water vapour penetrating your Anova’s solid state electronics impacting its operation.

It can happen at high water temperatures with an uncovered water surface.
