Anova Precision Cooker 3 trips ground fault

All of a sudden after 3 months, my new Precicion 3 stick trips my ground fault. I have cleaned it, it was pristine. I gave it a soft reset, hard reset, and fctory reset, all to no avail. This is a new stick 3 months old, used maybe once a week. Has this happened to anyone else?

Your PC’s interior has gotten too wet, likely from humidity from cooking with out a cover.

Any fix for this?

Same as drying dehumidifying any expensive electronics, tool and dessicant in a gently heated vacuum chamber.

Thank you. Your suggestion worked, back in business.

It sounds like your Anova Precision Cooker 3 is experiencing a classic “ground fault” failure. This is a relatively common—and frustrating—issue where moisture or an internal component failure causes a tiny amount of electricity to leak to the ground, triggering your GFCI outlet for safety.
