Anova Precision Oven tripping all house circuits 3 months unresolved

I wanted to share my experience in case others are in a similar position.

After about four weeks of use, my Anova Precision Oven began tripping not just the kitchen circuit but every power circuit in my house simultaneously. It does this within seconds of being plugged in — before it has even finished starting up — and happens even with no other appliances running and all other circuit breakers switched off.

I first reported this to Anova support on 1 February 2026 (Case #1019369). Since then I have experienced the following:

  • Multiple requests for information I couldn’t provide because the oven is unsafe to turn on (Device ID via the screen, firmware version via the app)

  • The fault was repeatedly attributed to sharing a circuit with other kitchen appliances — even after I explained clearly that the oven trips every power circuit in the entire house

  • Escalation to “upper management” on 10 February with no follow-up

  • A return label promised on 2 April — which never arrived

  • The ticket was then closed without any contact from me

I have since found multiple threads on this very forum reporting the same fault, and a post from March 2026 which correctly identifies this as a ground fault — electricity leaking from the internal wiring to the oven’s metal chassis. This is a fault inside the oven, not a wiring problem in the home.

It is now late April 2026 and I still have an oven that I cannot use and no refund in sight.

This is so frustrating because I think it’s a brilliant product and was telling everyone how great it was until this started happening.

Has anyone else experienced prolonged delays getting a resolution from Anova support on this issue? And has anyone found an effective way to escalate beyond the standard support team?

You must have a licensed house electrician troubleshoot your house electrical system. It is not likely correct that a load on one circuit trips all breakers or the master breaker. The fault is in your house wiring.
