Continuing the discussion from What worked for connecting Anova Precision Oven 2.0 to wifi/App:
The 2.0 oven would not display the connection process in the app.
Restarted phone, restarted app, restarted oven, nothing worked. Oven displayed the QR code but the app would not see the oven on Bluetooth to begin the wi-fi connection process.
As a side note, the wi-fi router I have is unable to turn off 5 Ghz wi-fi.
That said, having both 5 and 2.5 wi-fi running was not an issue.
Deleted 1.0 oven from the app, even though I wanted it to also be connected and per a search this is possible to have both ovens on the iPhone app …
Installed app
on opening the app, now the 2.0 oven connection process displayed on the App and was able to connect to wi-fi.
Not able to also add the 1.0 oven to the app also, but at least the 2.0 oven is now connected to wi-fi and able to use the app.
Summary, deleting, installing the app then displayed the 2.0 oven connect to wi-fi process.
