Why does the app not notify us if the power goes out and the temperature drops from what it was set at. This is the second time that this has happened to me. Last time I didn’t check the app and when I got home the water temp had fallen too low and I had to trash the food. Today I just happened to check the app and saw the temp was low and it wasn’t heating. Luckily today I could just restart the cook. Why can’t the app notify us that there was a problem with the cook, or since the Anova powered back on resume cooking? I shouldn’t need to buy a $100 UPS to avoid this. Technology shouldn’t be so hard.
Any why can we still not silence the completed cooking beep from the app???
