Best Anova Sous Vide Cooker Machine - Expert Advice to Choose

I have been looking into the sous vide cookers for a few days now because I want to make my home cooking better and have meals that are as good as the ones you get in a restaurant. I read reviews from The New York Times Consumer Reports and Popular Mechanics. They all say that these two sous vide cookers are the best:

I am having a time deciding which sous vide cooker is right for me. I could really use some help from someone who knows a lot about sous vide cookers.

I want to use a vide cooker to cook steaks, chicken, fish, eggs and even vegetables like carrots and broccoli. I also want a vide cooker that is easy to use and works well all the time something that is good, for cooking at home every day.

So which vide cooker should I buy. I would really like to hear any recommendations or things you have learned from using a vide cooker.

Thanks.

I have had my ANOVA PC 2.0 from their introduction. I use it for all of your listed purposes, plus yogurt making and releasing thermoplastic denture adhesive coating.

A lesson that I have learned is to ALWAYS cover the bath, prevent humidity and moisture from reaching the control head. The wattage only controls the rate of heating the bath. I’ve never calculated the power needed to maintain bath temperature. I have not found remote control useful, particularly since I have learned to trust the machine so I don’t hover over it. Cooking beef for instance, and my primary intended use, I season and bag when it’s convenient for me, well in advance, and put it in the cooker about breakfast time to be tender for dinner.

Temperature is doneness, doneness is subjective. Time is tenderness, tenderness is objective, and documented in Douglas Baldwin’s A Practical Guide to Sous Vide free on-line A Practical Guide to Sous Vide Cooking
