How to start to cook?

Trying to use my Anova (wifi) for the first time. I set to cook Chicken via the app. The water pre-heated and notified me. I pressed OK and put my food into the pot. But then there was no way to start the timer to cook proper?


For the last 30 minutes I’ve been getting an alert every few seconds telling me the water has pre-heated with no way to trigger the main cooking process.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Shouldn’t have to but I found stopping and restarting with water already hot worked fine. Better than listening to beeps when it is obviously already cooking
